MentorBot

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MentorBot ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Discord bot and web dashboard (the "Service"). By using the Service you consent to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate and provide the Service, authenticate you, process subscriptions, generate analytics and AI-assisted responses, communicate with you (including transactional and account emails), prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing & Third-Party Processors

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service, including: Discord (platform integration), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI features, processing only the content needed for a request), Mailjet (transactional email), and Fly.io / Cloudflare (hosting and DNS). Each processes data under its own terms.

4. Data Isolation

Data from each connected Discord server (tenant) is isolated by server identifier so that one customer cannot access another customer's data through the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain analytics and account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Message analytics are subject to a rolling retention window. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Members of a Discord server may opt out of analytics collection where supported.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

10. Contact

For privacy questions or data requests, contact us at support@mentorbot.app.
